Private Group Seward Cruise to Anchorage Transfer for up to 56 People

Take a scenic trip to or from Seward Cruise Ship Terminal. The price is reduced because we will make a single stop to use the restroom at a "rustic" wayside. We will provide narration along the way.

Learn about the history of Anchorage, stop at the busiest seaplane airport, find out what in the world an Ulu is, possibly watch salmon fishing right in downtown Anchorage.

Whittier to Anchorage Uncommon Cruise Transfer Tour

We will meet in Whittier and spend the day getting a small glimpse of America's second biggest National Forest. After leaving the cruise dock we go through the Whittier Tunnel and emerge in the Portage Valley. We will spend time in the valley before departing up the Seward Highway to take a tour of Anchorage. Keep a camera handy because photo opportunities are everywhere.

Tour Highlights:

8:30 AM Meet at Whittier Cruise Ship Terminal to Depart through the 9:00 Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel

  • Visit the Begich Boggs Visitor Center of the Chugach National Forest (Entrance Fee Included).

  • Enjoy a one hour Portage Lake Cruise to the Portage Glacier

  • Lunch on your own at a small locally owned lodge

  • Take a hike up the 1. 4 mile trail Byron Glacier Trail (Rated Easy because it is mostly flat) for an up close look at a glacier and terrific view of the Portage Lake and the surrounding valley.

  • Travel along the famously beautiful Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet.

  • Upon arrival in Anchorage enjoy an informative city tour.

  • Arrive at the hotel you have arranged at approximately 5:00 PM.
