AK Superior Tours is the culmination of a dream by its owner Alan Kanne. He began working as a tour driver and guide in 2002. He intended to spend a summer or two making a little extra money, but Alaska and the job captured him. About 10 years in, he began thinking he should buy his own bus and launch a company with the vision of providing exceptional service at a good value. Long-term he would like to transition the business to a non-profit to support various causes that exist within Alaska.
The company focus is offering private tours for groups who prefer to travel together rather than buying a seat on some programmed tour. We will take a standard itinerary such as exploring Alaska before or after a cruise and customize it. You can see as little or as much of The Great Land as you want.
We offer transportation services to other travel companies as well.
